Domain expiry lookup
Make sure a domain will not lapse and know which registrar manages it.
How it measures
- The IANA RDAP bootstrap file maps the TLD to its registry server; the registry's domain object is then fetched.
- Registry requests are throttled per TLD and cached for a minute.
Limits
- Not every TLD publishes RDAP, and some registries hide expiry or registrar data. Missing data is shown as unavailable, never as expired.
- Registrar-level RDAP referrals are not followed.
Troubleshooting
- Unsupported TLD
- The registry has no RDAP service in the bootstrap file. Check expiry with your registrar directly.
